Note that the city emblem appearing in the lid (as well as many other Ramat Gan manhole covers on the site), the star that is supposed to appear above the top of the Star of David (where the palm tree appears) is missing. Despite the fact that the official city emblem features seven stars (symbolizing the seven stars in the flag Herzl proposed to the Jewish state).
