A track of about 11 km connects points in Princess Diana’s life including Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens (where the picture was taken), etc. The track was established in memory of the Princess and opened on 30 June 2000, about 3 years after her death and the day before Her 39th birthday. At the center of each of the covers is the symbol of nobility resembling the "Tudor rosette".
Similar covers exist where this lid is used as an inner circle and an external circle is added with additional navigation instructions
